This is how to rank #1 on Google for the term "online marketing"

One simple error on your site can be the difference between ranking on the first page of Google or not be found at all.

With Google making over 3,000 changes to their algorithm each year, it's more important than ever to make sure your site is error free.

And when you do this, you'll see your rankings climb. Just like how I rank number 1 for the term "online marketing".

So how do you keep up with Google's ever so changing algorithm so you can climb to the top? Well today I'm going to teach you how to do automatically. Because let's face it, none of us have the time to keep up with that many algorithm changes.

Let's get started...

Step #1 - Head over to Ubersuggest and type in your domain name and hit "search".

Step #2 - On the left-hand navigation click on "Site Audit". One you're there it will take a few minutes to audit your site.

This will take you to a report that looks something like this (it may take a few minutes to load)...

The top part of the report will give you a broad overview of the health of your website. It will include a rundown of critical errors, warnings and recommendations.

When you scroll down you will see a breakdown of your site speed on desktop and mobile, followed by a breakdown of top SEO issues.

Step #3 - At the bottom of the report click "See All Issues."

And that will load a report that breaks down what you need to fix in order. The ones at the top will have the biggest impact in improving your rankings.

If you are not sure how to tackle each issue don't worry, I've got you covered. Next to each issue Ubersuggest provides an explanation of each issue and how you can fix them. All you have to do is click on the "what is this and how do I fix it" link.

Step #4 - Optimize your site! There may be some issues that are an easy fix or that require the help of your developer. Either way you're on your way to having a well optimized website.

It's important that you audit every page of your site. Like I mentioned above, one small error can make a BIG difference in your rankings.

Step #5 – Once you fix the issues go back to the main "Site Audit" report and click on the "Recrawl" button.

This will tell Ubersuggest to recrawl your website and to check to see if the errors are fixed or any new ones have been created.

Bonus Tip - Remember, Google makes changes to their algorithm several times a day so if you want to make life easy, head to the Dashboard, create a project and Ubersuggest will automatically crawl your site in the future and tell you if there are any bugs that you need to fix.
