Massage

Massage

If you live in Georgia and are forced to return to work this Friday...

INSIST on wearing any and ALL PPE you can get your hands on. Gloves, N95, face shield, goggles, gown.

Yes, you will give a terrible massage.

If you work for one of the shitty chains (or just a shitty spa), they will likely try to make you take it off. HOWEVER, the reopening order specifically requires necessary safety measures such as PPE.

MAKE them fire you, document everything, then collect UI.

And if you work for yourself, make sure your client know they're going to get a gown, mask and glove massage, and they have to wear a mask as well. Will it be a good massage? Heck no. But STAND FIRM. If you have to work, protect yourself and don't be party to this irresponsibility any more than you have to.

How do you feel about Kemp saying you're OK to be table side April 24? I'm in FL and this gave me a pit in my stomach.

Is anyone starting to massage again immediately after the quarantine lifted?

I am just wondering what the general consensus is. Because I'm not. And Im not sure when..I had shitty employers who had NO measures to keep us safe. They continued working through quarantine without any PPE and "just made sure they washed their hands"...like WTF ?! I'm definitely not going back to work for them when this is all over.

My bed always gives me back pain. Especially a bar right underneath the shoulder blades and halfway down my back, Im a very achey person in general. Should i go with a theracane or foam roller?
