Helen, who is the Head of Features on The Lorraine Show and author of the amazing blog The Titty Gritty, found a lump in her breast in 2018 and a few weeks later was told that she had cancer and needed a mastectomy. Helen, who was planning a massive party for her 40th at the time, suddenly had to deal with a brand new reality. This is Helen's story, all told with a brilliant sense of humour (she had me snorting with laughter) and such warmth. Helen, who is now cancer free is on a mission to get us to check our boobs but more than that, she wants to remind us that even though we are in the midst of a really scary virus, there is a another C out there and if you are worried about any symptoms you need to connect with your Dr as soon as you can.
